How old do kids have to be to ride your eMTB’s?

Every bike rider must be 18 or older to rent a bike on their own.

Youth must meet the minimum height requirement of 5’2” to ride a small size 29” wheel eMTB and be aged 13 to 17 to ride along with a parent, who  must sign a parent-signed waiver for each minor.

For safety reasons, no children under 13 may ride our e-bikes regardless of height. The bikes are heavier than a typical youth bike and handling one may not be safe for both the young rider and the bike. MTB and eMTB riding requires minimal bicycle riding skills that each parent must be aware of before renting an eMTB for their children.

Can I “pit stop” and park the bike to have a cold drink shop or eat?

Unfortunately no.

Refunds cannot be given for early returns, your reservation time disallows others from renting the eMTB’s during those same periods. We appreciate and thank you for your understanding.

What if my bike runs out of battery?

The batteries of our eMTB’s are fully charged when delivered. We have tested these bikes in all kind of conditions, rider skills and weight. The average rider fitness level rides between 2.5 and 4.0 hours.

Advanced riders that plan to ride longer are recommend to strategize the use of battery for a longer range using eco and touring mode. If you are an advanced rider you may extend the life of the battery for up to 6-8 hours or over 70 miles depending on how you manage the power modes.

We rent extended batteries for longer range upon request and availability.

Without battery power, except for the extra weight, the eMTB’s ride like a regular premium mountain bike.
